What better way to celebrate the beginning of Summer, but by breaking bread together, fellowshipping and experiencing life together? This Saturday we will be at the Greystone Falls Club House, off Williams Rd. in the Welcome Center entrance (I-185 exit 12).
We will be meeting at 8:00 for a potluck breakfast, celebration and fellowship. But….
DON’T FORGET YOUR BIBLES and a notebook. You are going to be in for a treat! This could be one of the most monumental enlightenments of your life. Well, if not, I know it will be very powerful. It may even answer some hard questions you had as well as educate you to share the gospel with others and be able to honestly answer their questions with biblical truth.
This is also a great time for us to reflect on the last couple of months, how we have journeyed through the old testament. We learned about covenants, promises and about God’s faithfulness. The struggling life of Abraham, Moses, the Israelites, slavery, deliverance, and then the concept of sacrifical offerings. This brought us the a very special and critical learning experience about the tabernacle, both mobile and permanent.
We are so lucky that we live in a time where God has already come down and changed the way we have a relationship with him. We have transitioned from hoping that a priest was holy and that we could raise or buy an acceptable offering to make us right with a perfect God. Now through the miraculous event of the birth of Jesus, and Him dying on the cross for our sins, there is no more sacrificial offerings. We now have the final covenant, with Jesus. We take communion in remembrance of Him. Not only did He die on the cross for our sin, but he abolished the sin offerings. We can’t earn salvation. He has already paid our ransom.
Come enjoy some breakfast, laughter, education and life with us this Saturday – 8:00AM
