One of the greatest attributes of our Wild Men of God group is that we are diverse and are not from one pack or organization. We are composed of more than four different churches, a variety of race and ages and that is some of the most powerful attributes we could ever desire.
None of us are as good as all of us.
We have such a variety of education, talent and careers, which makes it so intriguing how this can look so much like the disciples of Jesus time. They were fishermen, tax collectors, and other trades.
We need to encourage and know how to communicate and grow as followers of Jesus Christ. We are not in the game to tear down churches and brag about our churches. We are to strive to live in the truth of the bible and help each other. We need to love one another as we are instructed in 1 Corinthians 13.
We want to make sure when we disciple others that we will talk about church programs, groups and people, but let us make sure we do not destroy relationships and tear the church apart. Do we really show love, patience and kindness? We need to really show the people we disciple with by example. Let us not gossip and be judgmental. As we work together it is our witness that is more powerful than we probably understand.
As Francis closed the video, he says it so well… “We have to fight for this unity”.
